Advantage:
The dimensional accuracy reaches CT7-CT8 level, with small machining allowance (6-9mm at the guide rail).
Utilize graphitization expansion to reduce shrinkage, achieve less riser casting, and lower scrap rate.
Suitable for single piece or small batch production, with a cost reduction of 40% compared to traditional wooden molds.
Application: Large castings such as gantry milling machine bodies and CNC machine tool bases.
Lost Foam Casting
Advantage:
No need to take a mold, directly through foam gasification molding, suitable for complex curved surface structure.
The surface roughness Ra is ≤ 6.3 μ m, approaching the level of precision casting.
Application: Customized components such as irregular columns and curved bed bodies.
heat treatment process
Timeliness processing:
Artificial aging: Heat to 600-650 ℃, keep warm for 2-3 hours, eliminate internal stress, and prevent processing deformation.
Natural aging: Placed outdoors for more than 3 months, stability is improved but the cycle is long.
Stress relief annealing: Keep at 500-550 ℃ for 8-10 hours to reduce residual stress and avoid cracking.
Rail quenching: Induction heating increases hardness to 60-64HRC and improves wear resistance by 50%.
